There is the nicest and easiest type of gardening which simply entails one cutting the grass and the trade term for this is,
MOW, BLOW & GO ! This is what most of the gardeners prefer to do and is general on going monthly maintenance work.
NEXT, we have the more intense and difficult part of gardening which is called garden clearence. This is where the owner has left the garden to over grow and i have encounted gardens that have been left for 10 years or more and you cannot see the size of the garden . this is very hard work and requires specialist gardening equipment and is costly to clear.
NEXT, we have specialist garden services which may include, knowledge of plants and flowers etc and planting methods etc, or lawn care and lawn maintenance which we specialise in. 
We plant new lawns, carry out assessments, scarify, seed, fertilise etc. Lawn care is much more involved than simply mowing your grass and requires a few processes to be carried out before you see the stunning results.
If you want a beautiful lush green lawn then regular and specilized maintenance is necessary.
There is also the regular garden maintenance which entails weeding, lawn cutting, hedge and bush trimming,pruning and applying weed killer to keep weeds under regular control etc.
